David was first admitted as a solicitor in 1988 and initially worked for the New South Wales Director of Public Prosecutions as a solicitor, having prior to admission worked as a Registrar of the Local Court of NSW.

David entered into practice with King Cain Solicitors of Bathurst where he conducted a litigation based practice which grew to be predominantly family law focused. David developed links with a number of support groups within the community and also acted on behalf of government departments including the Department of Community Services in the Children's Court.

In 1995 David moved to Cronulla where he conducted a predominantly family law focused practice and became an Accredited Specialist in that area in 1999. David completed a Masters of Applied Law (Family Law) in 2010.

David has a broad experience in conducting complex matters in the family law area including those matters involving children, property, maintenance, child support and de-facto relationship matters including cases pursuant to the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction (Hague Convention) and he regularly appears in courts exercising jurisdiction in those areas.

As well as specialising in family law, David has considerable experience in criminal law acting in matters ranging from driving offences, apprehended violence and assaults to very serious criminal matters.

Nicole graduated from the University of Technology, Sydney in 2000 with an Arts Degree (majoring in Social Science) and a Law Degree, in which she achieved First Class Honours. Nicole was admitted as a Solicitor in February 2000 and has practised almost exclusively in Family Law, De Facto and related areas of law since that time.

Nicole became a Law Society Accredited Specialist in Family Law in 2005 and is highly experienced. Nicole joined Crawford Ryan Lawyers in August 2012 and practises predominantly in Family Law and De Facto Law.

Nicole is a strong and confident advocate and provides honest and realistic advice on all aspects of Family Law and De Facto matters, ranging from contested parenting matters to complex property matters. Nicole also deals with Trusts, company structures, and overseas property and assets.

Nicole supports and encourages Mediation and Primary Dispute Resolution and ensures the participants are armed with sound and practical legal advice.
